I have a 2010 CRV all wheel drive. Planning to tow a U-Haul from CT to WA state. what size can I safely tow?

U-haul has their own guide, that they try to strictly go by, if they think its to big and we think it can pull trailer fine, they win and will only rent you the largest size they deem is fine, so call or go by or look online u-haul to determine your size options.

Also understand u-haul trailers are over-built, tough & heavy. If you can find a lighter trailer, per size it would be bigger, giving you some more space, but your still limited by your towing weight limit.

This url is honda.com and it gives your model a 1500 pound max tow capacity, so u-haul will not be anymore that, that is trailer and trailer cargo combined. Not empty trailer weight.

I believe it would be safer to rent a fully capable truck to haul your cargo in and tow your 8 year old CRV behind it on such a long interstate drive,
