Why is my car not speeding up very fast?

Thanks for responding! If I need to speed up quickly to get into traffic for example, it doesn’t really respond it revs up kind of but doesn’t speed up. Another example, was going down a highway and acceleration slowed, rpms went up, I pulled over, waited awhile and it didn’t do it again?

CVT transmission is going. This kind of thing happened to me. Nissans CVT transmissions are poorly built. Replacement is 3-4000 dollars. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
