I see a short ground wire is hanging but can't find where it goes. Can you help

I don't have an Escalade to look at, and no wiring diagrams to refer to, but if I had to guess it's a chassis or body ground. It looks like a thick braided cable, common for a ground. Try and find the other braided end, it may have been bolted to the engine block or the engine cradle/frame. There are numerous braided cable grounds on vehicles.

I got a 2015 Cadillac Escalade with electrical problems when I bring the window down the hood indicator turns on who can help me with this

it should have a ground post straight above it inside the hood towards the bottom. atleast that’s where mines grounded too, i have a 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV
