Ford Focus dies while driving

Asked by Sheila Apr 10, 2018 at 04:20 PM about the 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

05 Ford Focus stalls while driving.  Ford dealer already replaced Alternator
which did not fix the problem.  It may have something to do with anti-theft,
because sometimes the vehicle won't start at all, but if you keep locking and
unlocking the doors, eventually you can get it started.  When you use the
remote on the keys, sometimes the doors don't unlock but you can hear a
clicking noise coming from the engine.
