TRYING TO REPLACE THERMOSTAT HOUSING FOR 2010 SEBRING BUT DEALERSHIP DOES NOT KNOW WHAT PART I NEED

Asked by BISCO123 Dec 02, 2014 at 01:50 AM about the 2010 Chrysler Sebring Touring Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 Liter V6 (Convertible).  I am trying to replace
the thermostat housing and none of the Chrysler dealerships that I have dealt with have
the right part nor do they know what the right one is.  They come up with a part that has a
two openings for hoses and mine only has one.  Also, it attaches with three bolts.  Any
incite would be awesome!!!

I did a search and this is the housing that comes up. There's a YouTube video for an earlier model and by the way the engine block is constructed on the 2.7l, it needs two hoses. Is it possible that some other wires/hoses are blocking your view making you think there's only one opening?
