I put roughly 1/3 of a can of Sea Foam into the gas tank every time i change my oil. So that should be every 3000 to 5000 miles, depending on your choice oils and oil filters. I also change the fuel filter every year, even though it recommends every 2 years. I have 270,000 miles on my crown vic and she's still gets me around with no major problems.
