2010 Jeep Compass No crank

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 jeep compass Park it and went to get in it turn the key wont
crank . Got to checking the fuse all are GOOD checke the relays and they all
are GOOD and then got to notice that the windows, radio, windshield
wipers,Headlights, emergency flashers. DOES NOT WORK. Have check most
of the grounds Anyones jeep have the same problem?

Hello ED Sorry i meant to put i had a new battery. And still doing the same thing. I find this wire is mess in he dash . I think it goes to the TCM .

Disconnect leads on battery . step on brake...then reconnect battery..it should start

I am having the same problem with 2010 Jeep Compass 3 weeks ago I replaced the Battery 4 days ago I replaced the starter .... now it won't start ... has power no crank .... Curious ..... What does disconnecting the battery an stepping on the brake have to do with this issue. My next thought is something in a relay or wiring :)
