8 speed transmission swap

have a 2010 jeep sahara automatic. Would a new 8 speed jeep wrangler transmission fit if I can find one? The 2010 trans is has very poor performance

i have a 2008 jeep wrangler with the transmission going out, is a 2014 jeep wrangler transmission compatible for a 2008?
