Trailer hitch

Question type: Car Customization

After much investigation, I am in the process of installing a hitch.  Two brands
seemed to have customer feedback about holes not lining up. So I bought the
Curt 10346. Will file more as I proceed.  But has anyone had similar issues in
installing a Curt (or other) hitch?

I completed the install of the Curt 10346 hitch on my 2010 Subaru Tribeca. The directions lacked one important step: the spare tire rack had to be removed first and luckily all 8 bolts came out without stripping. Since the frame part of the hitch was slotted holes, I added cutoff bolts into the empty slot so when pulling the frame bolts take all the pulling force and the bumper takes only the tongue weight.
