Question type: General

I've diagnosed when it happens down to this, 5th gear, 50mph, right before
you hit 2000rpms the car feels as if the transmission is stuttering and rocking
until you get to about 2500rpm and about 57mph. I saw someone seem like
they've had a similar problem but people were saying "oh it must be a fuel
problem." I disagree with that because if that was true why only 5th gear at
2000rpms?

When was the last time you had the transmission fluid changed and filter? is there any signs of a leak from the main output shafts from the trany? this would be a good place to look if you think its a trany issue cause half the time its just the trany is low on fluid causing the trany to slip. But other reasons could be the 5th gear is simply nearly worn out from over use or low fluid levels.
