Checked fuses now car won't start

need a little more to go on. Does it crank? do your lights flash when you crank it ? does it make clicking noises when you try to turn it over ? discribe your issue we maybe good but we are not mind readers my friend :P

Was checking fuses in my Volkswagen Jetta 2001 blower motor quit blowing and and a cigarette lighter quit working how do you tell if a fuse is bad also my car won't start now what did I do wrong or what do I need to do do I need to replace the fuse which fuse???

you can get a fuse tester which is basicly just a light with 3 prongs that touchs the ends of the fuses and lights up if the fuse is good. other wise pull the fuse and look inisde the plasic if the bar inside the fuse has burned off its bad and replace it
