http://wrenchwise.com/index.php/154/kia/changing-the-belt-on-kia-sedona/ ..geez, this one looks like a LOT of work, removing the wheel and splash guard... but http://www.ehow.com/how_6783274_replace-kia-serpentine-belt.html is much easier..Hmmm
The tensioner pulley is just to the left of the alternator. Put a wrench on the bolt toward the top and turn clockwise. Hold it there while you remove the belt from the alternator then remove from the rest of the pulleys. remember the pattern that it came off in and put the new one on.
The tensioner pulley is usually the small wheel just to left of alternator. The sedona manual gives the wrong impression that it is the center of that pulley one is turning to loosen tension. (Confusing because that is like some other cars.) But NO, on say a 2011 the tensioner pulley bolt to loosen is the hidden 19mm bolt just beneath the temsioner pully. No, its not the visible bolt. It's between the lower visible bolt and the tensioner pulley.
Regarding Jonny's answer above, on a 2010 Sedona the movement to release the belt tension is COUNTER clockwise as in, toward the windshield. Regarding Guru...'s answer above, on a 2010 Sedona you will see two pulleys to the left of the alternator. The closest one IS NOT the tension pulley that you use to loosen belt tension. The second one to the left, at about the 9 o'clock position is the correct one to loosen belt tension. The correct 19 mm nut is hidden beneath the belt and has a hole in the middle, hence the reason I am calling it a nut. Put the 19 mm socket on it and push toward the windshield to loosen the belt tension.
