Stabiltrak

Asked by Dweaver353 Jan 31, 2020 at 02:05 AM about the 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Silverado and I recently was driving
about 75 mph for about 30 minutes and my
Stabiltrak light came on and  I lost most of the
power. There was also a “reduced power” message
that came on. I pulled over and the engine was
running “rough” . After turning the engine off for
about 10 minutes, I restarted the engine and it was
fine. This has happened twice now, both times after
about 30 minutes of Highway speed driving

Connect a scanner to your OBDII port and read the error code(s) and report them to this forum for further information. The error codes should help to identify what is causing the problem. Scanners are cheap now-a-days at Walmart.

Same type of problem happened to me last year. Connect a scanner to your OBDII port and read the error code(s) and report them to this forum for further information. The error codes should help to identify what is causing the problem. Scanners are cheap now-a-days at Walmart. (Might read all my "exComapqr" posts about this situation too.)
