A Chevy crate engine would be my choice. If a Chevy dealer installs it I would not expect any problems except paying for it. Sugar does not destroy engines, this is a myth. What happened to your engine?
Chevy Dealer in Chantilly Va said engine had a sugary substance in it. it started burning oil 2 weeks ago. went into shop, initially said one cylinder was real low on compression, then opened engine up.
this Silverado was babied, had 99K, 4dr, all leather. Considering new engine from dealer. Will this work ? What problem can I expect ?
