2010 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi Laramie Entertainment system issue

I started my pickup this morning and the entertainment system came on, however there is no sound. Shows that my Sirius channel is there as well as FM but there is no sound coming from the system. Tried messing with the volume knob and nothing changed. Any suggestions or shall I take it to the dealer and see what they tell me? Also I will be going down the road and the system will shut off and start back up again. I took it to the dealer once about it but they said they never were able to make it happen when they had it. Any advice there? Thanks!

Hi there are several TSB ( technical service bulletin ) that apply to your vehicle and what you describe is covered in one of them....google 08- 018-11 REV. A .....for the time being the only way to get your radio back is to remove it and unplug it with the key off and wait ten seconds and plug it back in ....this will reboot it unless you want the dealer to see than keep it like it is ...it is actual an amp issue .....sound doesn't come from the radio but from the amp so you may not get the sound back so I hope this helps
