Had mine for 6 mos. now, It is unbelievable it replaced a 1/2 T hemi. And very well I might add. I don't get the mileage they claim but it is unreal, I pull a 7,000lbs trailer. It is a 2014 outdoorsman not as listed in below.

because your diesel cost so much more than a hemi equipped truck. it will take more than 4 years of driving that diesel to actually save any money over driving a hemi with lower fuel economy. Consumer Reports did an article on this.
And you also have the added cost of the DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) that you have to use also.
DEF is cheap, The resale of this truck will offset the extra price, this will be my last truck. The price of diesel is now back where it belongs, in Canada anyway. I have been paying $1.04 per litre. My wife drives a Dodge Charger 3.5lit.AWD and it costs more to operate than my truck. The one important thing here is we drive North American vehicles!! No Jap crap or Hitler-mobiles in this house!!!!(you know, the people that tried to eliminate us) So I feel bad that the engine was not made here, but know that most of it employed Canadians and the Our southern friends. You can't dodge the facts!!!.
