Windshield washer refill light stays on even when I fill it.

If you use rain x washer fluid it leaves a film on sensor. I ran 1 gal regular fluid thru it then filed it 1/2 gal regular & about 6 oz dawn dish soap .dawn dish soap is a degreaser it cleaned tank & censor 2 weeks mine is still ok good luck Don't use Rain X fluid

10 years of running rain x in fords never had a problem ...first time i use it in my ram the level sensor bugs out

Put fresh regular windshield wiper fluid in once it was empty then used a rubber water bottle scrubber with a stick taped on to extend it and wiped sensor inside tank off. Problem fixed

I got a 2004 2500 Dodge Ram I have been using rain x and my washer low fluid light came on flushed it out with Dawn dish liquid and ran 1 gallon of washer through it and fixed it i saw this on here and it works. Want be using rain x in my dodge anymore.
