Dodge ram 1500 truck

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brake light (not abs light) and traction control light
stay on, fuel gauge drops from full to half of tank,
cruise control wont work, had truck scanned at 3
different part stores and code read low brake fluid.

Anytime ur brake light comes on it autonatically disables traction control, you fuel gauge going open circuit(full) is probably a bad float

You are right, removed brake reservoir and cleaned out reservoir, float was gummed up, now float is operating fine and no lights are on, running like a top, Thank you for the diagnosis. For anyone else out there you can remove the brake reservoir without getting air in the system because the brake fluid stays full in the master cylinder itself.
