Swapping my 2010 trany with one out of a 2006

My trany is starting to give me problems and the coast is high to fix i have one
out of a 2006 same 5.3 liter motor same make everything seems to be the
same just older model will this trany work on my 2010 GMC

Well you would think so but I sell on ebay and know how to search for almost anything I need to know. I can not find one single seller stating it will fit and in-fact in search compatible list only states the 2010 as compatible.
