2010 GMC Sierra 5.3L V8 with only 52,000km has been experiencing total battery drain and dealership has recommended battery replacement.  Battery was replaced at 50,000km and it happened again.  Truck sat for one day and would not start,...nothing,...not even a click.

You have a circuit staying open somewhere, this can be hard to find - it could be a light in the trunk or under the hood, it could be anywhere. Had this problem years ago with a Mercury MARQUIS AND never found the bleed. I finally put a switch on the neg lead near the battery and just popped the hood every time I parked. Solved. Good luck looking for the bleed but if you can;t find it then a switch and hood pop is less annoying than having to keep the battery on a charger everywhere you park.
