do I need throttle bodie replacements when I show no symptoms

2010 M3 has the increased emissions light appearing on the dash,
intermittently , yet the vehicle shows none of the symptoms for a throttle body
replacement .  Is a replacement required or is it something else?? Like a
control display in the dash >>>

Do you have a throttle body code? If you do then try cleaning it first. Clear the code and run the drive time protocol. If the code returns then replace it. If you don’t have the code then the throttle body it not the problem.
