Windshield cracked when the "car slipped slightly" off the lift. What kinds of other damaged could be done with such force?
My friend has a BMW Series 3 car and had it in the BMW dealership for a maintenance issue. They called to say they have to replace the windshield due to cracking when the car slipped slightly when they started to lift the car. I know that it takes just a little force in just the right space to crack a windshield, but what about a torquing or other force twist other parts of the car and any potential unseen damage.
