2011 buick regal running poorly

Asked by lanningstuff Oct 01, 2018 at 06:53 PM about the 2011 Buick Regal CXL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife recently filled the car with fuel and it immediately began running poorly
and rough and when left idling would convert to reduced power.  the codes
said crank shaft sensor and both camshaft sensors but replacing all 3 of those
made no improvement.  I tried sea foam fuel trmt in case it was water in the
fuel what else can I try?

She didn't pump diesel in it by chance? If it is contaminated fuel, might be better off draining tank with a hand pump. Harbor Freight has a really cheap one that'll work on a car. After ward may want to replace fuel filter, then try some new gas from a different station. Of course the problem may just be a coincidence that started just after getting gas and has nothing to do with the gas itself.
