Why has my 2011 Hyundai Sonata start idling so high and feel like its going to cot off. The check engine light wont go off.

My car is idling very high and it feels like its going to cut off. The check enging
light keeps coming on

Sounds like the Idle Air Control valve or Mass Air Flow sensor depending on which one your vehicle has needs to be cleaned or replaced but sense the check engine light is on take vehicle to a auto parts store like auto zone and have them scan the codes for you for free this will eliminate a lot of guessing on what's going on with vehicle.
