Depends on maintenance and how it was driven.

201,000 on my 2011 Kia Sorento. I have only replaced oil, tires, plugs, and battery. Still has original brakes, lights, even serpentine belt. It has been fantastic.

205,000 on my 2011 Kia Sorento with 2.4L 4 cyl. and FWD. Car has had normal maintenance - no major issues. The oil looks as clear as the day I bought the car new. Fantastic riding and running vehicle. Highly recommended.

I have a Sorento 2012 with the 2.4L engine. In 7 years with 89,000 miles only repairs a driver seat heater and the opening control. Both were cover for the warranty 5 years/60000. Breaks in front once and recently rear brakes. Running well. Change oil between 3000 and 4000 miles, dealer maintenance at 60000 and recently at 89000. Thinking to keep it and replace my wife car with the New Sportage.

I bought my 2011 kia sorento lx in 2016 with almost 80K miles and yesterday with only 114K miles on it now, the $4,000 engine is locked up. Conveniently the recall for the 2011- 2013 engine issues are not advertised too much and my serial number for some reason doesn't register as having a bad engine. I wouldn't bet on this car to be reliable either as I have spent the last year making repair after repair to the vehicle and all in vain as now I still owe around $9k and it will cost me about the same to replace the engine in it. regular maintenance didn't do this car any favors either.

I bought my kia sorento 2 years ago it had 121,000 miles on it and I now have 163,000 miles on it. A month after I bought it the entire AC went out had to replace everything cost 1600$ then a few months later BOTH catalatic converters went out and the 02 sensor so had to replace all that. I dont remember exactly how much that cost but somewhere around 2k. I only get full synthetic oil changes and I get them every 7k . I am sure because I wasn't the original owner that is why Ive had so many issues. I bought my chevy cruze brand new in 2013 and besides regular oil changes and brakes 1 time I never had to do one thing to that car.

@GuruXVW3V how long have you owned this car? secondly, are you the only owner? if you you are not the first owner, do you think the previous owner did a change in transmission fluid?

I bought my 2016 Sorrento in 2016 Brand new. I travel a lot, 107k miles and (knock on wood), not a single problem. Exactly what I needed after owning a VW Tiguan that needed almost 20k in repairs in 4 years.

My 2011 Kia Sorento I bought with 75K miles. It now has close to 160k miles. I have made a whole lot of repairs but this car has also been parked outside, uncovered for the last 5 years in Florida heat.. A/C replacement. Transmission container replacement (some plastic casing inside the engine) Right front light doesn't work (not just the blub) Left rear door interior paneling is loose and the door can't be opened, otherwise is comes apart. Rear doors do not unlock from the inside (safety is not on) Key fob broken. Windshield sprayer broken. Now the front axial and supposedly the two rods going up from the front wheels need to be replaced because something is leaking and one front tire is now higher than the other ($2,700) repair.

My 2013 Kia Sorento just turned 408,000km. I started to put semi-synthetic oil in at 250,000km. Other than the back up camera, I have not had any major issues. Brakes, tires and the usual. Recommended to go to after market parts after 150,000 to save money.

Update: My 2011 Sorento just reached 265K miles. Truck continues to amaze. Perhaps this is the easiest vehicle to find parts for. I mainly use Rock Auto. Just changed the struts and shocks. Riding like a new vehicle again! On my way to 500K miles.
