or should I run

Run. Just google "2.4L engine failure Kia" and then look at ebay for the replacement engine prices and do the math.

I have a Kia Sorento that I've had for 3 years and the only thing I've had done to my vehicle is purchase a new battery. It's a very good SUV. If you have never owned one, then no one can tell you with certainty what kind of vehicle it is"). Take my word for it, they are good vehicles. Good city mileage and good highway miles. Very good on gas. You would definitely get your money's worth. Its a good reliable vehicle.
