Capacity for transmission fluid after a complete flush.

Asked by Gameface6 Dec 22, 2016 at 11:08 AM about the 2010 INFINITI G37 Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to find out how many quarts of transmission fluid it should take to
replace what is removed in a complete flush of the system.  I have a 2010
G37X sedan.  I was charged for 16 quarts in a recent flush and that seems
excessive to me, but there may be more to it than I understand.

It only takes about three quarts so they charged you for enough oil to flush it five times.
