I can not find the crankshaft sensor on my 2010 2.0 gasoline jetta whats the easiest way to replace it

I think its around the oil filter, if I remember correct its on the drivers side of oil filter and the connector connects to the harness just on the passenger side of oil filter, its easier to get to it from below the car verses from under the hood.
