I recently bought a 2011 camry, and it has a lever for cruise control,but does not
turn on.Can anybody help me ?

They are designed to run at speeds more than 25 MPH. Won't activate going slower. Also they run on a fuse. Maybe check that too.

    Vehicle is a 4 cyl. With the cruise control set at any speed it will downshift out of overdrive going over EACH overpass.....is this normal for this car ? so much for good fuel economy....
