When I turn on the headlights, the dashboard lights go out

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry, When I turn on the Headlights on the car, the
dashboard lights go out.  When I turn off the headlights, the dashboard lights
come on.
Also my car was in an accident, would this play apart of the lights.

Could be the dash light dimmer switch is bad or your headlight switch is bad. I vote for the headlight switch. This is the turn signal/headlight combo on the left side of your steering wheel. And yes depending on what kind of accident your car had this could definitely be from that. Have you already filed a claim with your insurance company (if you have full coverage) then you can call up the insurance agent and tell them you have a hidden damage claim for the lights. It should be covered depending on how long ago your car had the accident.
