2011 ford edge. Won't start displaying battery in charging mode off.

Ford edge won't start, battery is fine jump it and
starts.  I let it run for 20 minutes it will start . The
next day it won't start. The radio display says
charging system off. Any ideas

Does it really say charging system off in those exact words Or does it say battery saver mode

Battery savor mode off. Please turn ignition on or off.

That usually indicate the battery needs to be replaced and the (BMS) battery monitor system needs to be reset using a scan tool. If battery is replaced and BMS not reset you will have the same concern. Also if the red battery light is on while the car is running that would indicate the altanator is not charging.

when I turn my car off. It says battery saver not on. My battery is just over a year old. Also my backup camera doesnt work.
