2011 ford flex sparking at start

I have 2011 ford flex that sparked at ignition.  
Car wont start. Mechanic says that engine
has to locked up due to too much oil. Love
the car.  Should I repair for $3500

If it's in a hydrostatic lock. Remove all the spark plugs and try to turn it by putting a socket on the crank pulley and turn, you might luck in.
