I have a 2011 Ford Taurus and the tail lights aren't working, can you tell me where the fuse is located in the vehicle?

I cant seem to find out why my back lights aren't working or which fuse it could be
I found it. The fuse box is in the car, under the dash, left side of the steering wheel. Grab a flashlight and look up and you'll see the black box all the way up in there (if you have short arms). Remove the lid by pressing the clip. The top of the lid has the ID diagram of the fuses (should match the one in your manual or on-line). I had a hard time figuring which one was the "tail light" in the manual as it was not identified as such. Fuse #20 is the one that must be removed and checked. It is identified as license plate light and parking lights (go figure). I pulled it out and checked with a fuse tester and it was bad. I am definitely not a mechanic and this was driving me crazy as I could not find the "tail light" fuse. BTW, prior to this I changed both bulbs and one was discolored (burnt?). I believe water leaking into the trunk vial the tail light housing caused the fuse to blow. I'll have to fix it with silicon or flex tape or something... I hope this helps.
