2011 aveo crank but no start after overheating what could it be?

my 2011 aveo overheated and now it cranks but does not start what can it be?

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. If cranking rpms sound faster than normal, you may not have any compression? It won't start w/o compression. Some of the basic checks, spark at the plugs--- proper fuel pressure---fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes? good luck
