Chevy Traverse Transaxle Shudder

I have a random shudder/vibration from my 2011
Traverse that is due to a bad 3 5 R wave plate in the
transaxle. I have two questions...1. Can I replace
this without dropping the engine and transaxle? 2. If
I opt to let a shop do this how much can I expect to
pay?

Yes... it can be done. .. butttttt you won't enjoy it. Look on youtube there is a video of it being dineon an acadia. Garage will be 2000 to 3000

Uggghhh, thanks. I was only hoping no to get $5000 out of it. Not sure if it’s worth the time and effort. Especially since I don’t have a garage to do it in.
