1987 325i four door QUESTION

no air bags in any of the e30 models

I would beg to differ. The 1991 325i that I had had a driver's air bag. Passenger air bags weren't available 'til 93 or 94.

airbags were not available until the later 1990 build cars. both the 318s and the 325s had them though.

I have a 1990 325i and i have a driver side air bag, you can tell by if your steering wheel is thick in the middle or looks like this http://home.nc.rr.com/dlamson/images/g%20steering%20wheel.JPG

i belive airbags wernt fitted on the e30 bmw, as standard. untill the early 90s. but then the e36 was launched. and some early ones of them dont have airbags. airbags were considerd a option extra untill mid 90s. but look for airbag or SRS stamped into the steering wheel or passanger side.

so you're saying the 1987 325i does have them?

not at all. im saying the late 90s cars did.

An 87 Model will not have airbags.

My 1993 325is has NO airbags.
