2006 CTS 3.6 V6 Missing after Refueling

Engine loses power and brakes lose their power assist, ( maybe low vacuum) does this right after refueling.

Could be due to overfilling the gas tank, topping it off. The excess fuel saturates the EVAP system, the canister may be saturated with gas and not able to vent properly. Only fill the gas tank to where the gas pump nozzle clicks off once. Have the EVAP system checked.

Stopped filling before it even clicked off this time. Wondering if the purge valve could be the problem. Appears to be very low vacuum to run the power brakes. Engine very low power especially at first. THANK YOU
