Rear end sits hogh

Asked by Vonce Oct 15, 2019 at 02:55 PM about the 2006 Cadillac DTS Performance FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2006 DTS performance.  I replaced my
front struts. Now after a few weeks it appears that
my rear end is higher. I took it to tire discounters
and it had no idea why. They reccomend that I
take it to a dealership.  Really want to know if it is
damaging before I incur this high price diagnosis
from the dealership.

THE 06 DTS PERFORMANCE MODELS HAVE F55 ACTIVE CHASSIS AND F3 SPORT SUSPENSION WITH AUTOMATIC LEVEL CONTROL. THE NEW STRUTS RAISED THE FRONT SLIGHTLY SO THE ALC INCREASED THE REAR HEIGHT TO KEEP CAR LEVEL
