Cannot figure stereo on '98 323is

I rushed myself into buying a '98 323is and it has the original 6-changer cd player and stereo. The radio/cd player says asks for a "CODE", and since I don't have "the code" I can't turn it on. What should I do?

The dealer should be able to get the code. They will verify your ownership. Best of luck
