Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I looked out the window one icy morn to find the
wipers the 323I going casually back and forth. Car
was locked ign off. The wiper switch was in the off
position.  I fiddle with switch they stop. 20 mins
later they're on again. I ended up pulling the fuse
cuz they wouldn't stop. So I recharged battery.
Started and drove around the block, parked it. Next
day battery dead as can be. ??? Bad battery, wiper
switch, possessed car. Perform exorcism?

I would check the relay. It sounds like a power bypass issue.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. This is what's happened up to this afternoon. I replace the battery cuz the old one wasn't acting right on the charger the voltage would jump around erratically and then it would shut off I'm thinking the bad battery might have had a lot to do with the problem. I put the fuse back in for the wipers and everything seemed perfectly normal except for the only door I can get to unlock is the driver's door. I can hear the actuators want to do something in the other doors but nothing happens I even was able to get one of the push down locks up but apparently pulling up on the door lock doesn't unlock the door my wife and I were just car sitting this car for a friend he's supposed to be back any day well tomorrow LOL I told the wife the driver's door works he can figure out the other three I think the locking mechanism might be stuck or corroded from them moist environment we have here

Did you ever find out what was wrong with the car.? I have a 2001 325i &&it has the EXACT same problem. One day I went to lock the car on the outside &&the wipers immediately started going off. Car was off &&wiper switch was off as well. I had to take the fuse out but manually take it off &&put it on when I needed to use the wipers. Following the wiper problem I noticed I wasn’t able to unlock any door but the driver door from the outside door lock && the door lock button inside the car doesn’t work at all. You can hear it but nothing happens... I’ve been trying to fix it for weeks...
