Oil

Asked by Leoh11 Feb 14, 2017 at 11:04 PM about the 2003 BMW 3 Series 325xi Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been looking online for a long time and
I can't find a definite answer. What kind of
oil should my 2003 bmw 325xi take? I
usually use Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic. Is
that the right oil?

Any quality name brand synthetic in the weight recommended in your owners manual will be fine or you can buy the BMW brand oil from a dealer$$$$.

Its been using full synthetic so keep on using it, stay away from regular oil and simi synthetics which is ultra refined regular oil and its not a mix of regular and synthetic oils. Mobile 1 is a good choice.
