03 bmw 330xi won't start after replacing radiator HELP!

Asked by Crystal Jul 15, 2017 at 06:29 AM about the 2003 BMW 3 Series 330xi Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Earlier this week my 330xi overheated and a crack
was found in the radiator,  so radiator was replaced
however still wouldn't start. A fuel pump was
suggested to be the problem so replaced fuel
pump also, all fuel pressure checks out perfectly,
but car still won't start, it will crank but not fire. I
noticed the oil light is red,  and a new light is on it's
a triangle with an exclamation point,  never had it
come on before. The battery was put on a slow
charge after it depleted during starting attempts.
I've been reading some forums on the red oil light
and see that this is a common issue,  but with the
overheating and radiator replacement I'm worried it
could be something else.  I did bleed the lines as
advised (heat on 90 degrees, low fan, etc). I'm at a
loss as to where to check next!!!

Borrowing a scanner today. I stopped the car within minutes of the overheating beginning, but antifreeze was all over tge

Disregard my premature sending.... to continue antifreeze did get on the engine. The alternator is less than 2 months old, but haven't checked all connections yet. About to dive in again today. Oil level is good, no milky or red appearance to it. Thank you so much for the input!!! Love my car but she's temperamental haha.
