What keeps killing my battery after the alternate has been change

I will charge the battery it will cut on
the lights to my car but not enuff
energy to cut the whole car on

It's not unusual to have enough power to light the lights, but not enough to start the engine. Have you tried a new battery? It could be an internal short in the battery itself.
