No acceleration at all

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While the car idles there is totally no
acceleration. The car does not pick up
revs. It stays on 1000 revs. Even when I
press the throttle flat. The revs don't pick
up.

Check for a blown ( ETCS ) Electric Throttle Control System fuse
