2005 CTS 3.6 misfire cylinder 2 keeps coming back?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced timing chains, intake phaser, fuel injector, various sensors, even
took to a dealer and had it diagnosed with needing the intake phaser and
fuel injector. Replaced them all. Now that dang cylinder 2 misfire code came
back. Swapped coils to make sure it was not that. I will say that after the
phaser and fuel injector replacement it runs so much better.  It is faster and
more responsive than it ever did.  Just stumped at this point anybody has
any ideas?

Any chance that the injector has room to wiggle? A loose connection could cause the misfire. What does the used spark plug look like? Is it showing signs of running rich? Lean? Getting oil in cylinder? Waterfouled?

I will have to check that out but think I am going to put new plus and coil just to be safe. She started running rough today and that worries me.
