No specific answer, just this: do some research to find the best shop around for your specific car. Use Yelp or internet special interest forums for your car. Never automatically take it to the dealer or the closest shop. Take the car to the experts your research has uncovered. Any fool can read out the code for your check light, but only an expert can interpret it correctly.
My car did the same thing and I had been changing back and forth from Premium to regular unleaded. Start only using Premium and then use gumout in your gas with each tank until this sputtering stops. If this doesn't work you may need a tune up
if you go to autozone you can get the codes read and we can help you research the code to see what it means for your car, GM is it's own beast
I am answering my own questions for others to know what the problem was. I didn't have this problem until my front right tire started losing air. So I called AAA to get air in the tire and the driver told me to drive it for about 20 mins and the light would go off. And, whallahhhhh!!!!!!!!! the light went off. I only needed to put air in the tire!
It the spark plugs it's misfiring because either one or more are dead
When I get on it and it hits about 6000 rpm. Engine light flashes then goes away. Thinking it's my plugs?. I changed the air filter a day ago but no change??

I only get it when I hit the gas in 6th gear
