Does my 2005 Cadillac have a north star engine it has the
3.6L in it and is misfiring a common problem

Any car can misfire if the plugs are old or a coil goes bad. How long has it been since you had a tuneup?

No. Your 2005 Cadillac w/ 3.6L does not have a Northstar engine. As Full_of_Regrets said, try a simple tune-up. Could be a bad wire (Spark Plug) too.

Are you using regular unleaded. These cars require plus or preferably supreme. From a gas station known fr good gas. Mine did same thing . Switched to better grade gas and it stopped DC owing it almost immediately

I don't think it's the gas like Noelle says I run mine on just reg gas with no problem but I do think F_O_R is probably correct just needs a tune up.
