Asked by Benjamin Aug 04, 2018 at 08:28 AM about the 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L RWD

Question type: General

I have a 2005 Cadillac CTS and I replaced the thermostat
and water pump and it overheats fast now no
water/antifreeze in oil or no white smoke or sweet
smalling from exhaust so how can I tell if the head gaskets
are blown or bad coz my heater core hoses one hot ones
not my bottom  radiator  Hose is cool and blows out cool
air when I have the heater on

That tells me the hot water isn’t flowing through the heater core so I’m assuming the heater core is bad.
