Question type: Shopping & Pricing
Hello, I am looking at a 2006 BMW 325i with
170,000 miles for $3,700. It is super clean and has
no problems at the moment. I have never owned a
BMW so I don't really know how long they last. If
anyone that has had a bmw would reply that would
be cool! So is it a good price?? Thanks!

I own a 2006 325i base sedan with 180,000 miles on it. It has been incredibly reliable and these are good cars if you maintain them. They will go several hundred thousand miles or more. I would look for any oil leaks (oil leaks around all of the engine seals are common but not always disastrous). Make sure that the water pump has been replaced, as well as the main drive belt for all of the accessories (this should have been done at the same time). Other than that, window regulators will fail and I had to replace my A/C system fan. When these are in tune and properly aligned with good tires, they drive like a dream - great highway car!
