adjust the seat to how you want it then hold down the #1 button until it beeps, maybe program the EXIT button to the same setting otherwise everytime you open the door it will move thus burning out the bullshit seat motor they put in this car, you don't want to play with the seat motor too much, I have a 2005 also burnt the seat motor out cost 500$ plus 130$ diagnostic fee, even though I knew what the problem was and you have to bring it to the dealer to get this fixed, kindly rethink playing with that motor, had I a chance to do it all over again I would have just set the seat in my position and just leave it alone. If the seat is set up to a previous owner, adjust it to your liking and you should see 3 buttons( #1, #2, and EXIT, after you get a setting you like individually hold down each button until you hear a beep, and just leave that feature alone, it will serve you better that way my friend, btw never use 87 octane either!

When I hold my buttons to reset my seats on my 1997Cadillac devill they move what am I doing wrong

I have a 2007 Cadillac STS.... I know I have memory seats because every time I open the door the seats, mirrors and steering wheel moves... but the problem is I don’t have the buttons on my door for the seats labeled (1,2) so how do I stop this???
